Pianist Marc Copland&#8217;s trio (bassist Gary Peacock and      drummer Bill Stewart) is joined by horn players Michael Brecker, Tim Hagans, and Joe      Lovano on this, his latest release. <\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><font face=\"Verdana\" size=\"2\" color=\"#000000\">Pianist Copeland&#8217;s up-tempo      treatment of this Marvin Gaye classic highlights his unique rhythmic daring and subtlety      while leaving plenty of room for on-the-spot input from the players.\u00a0 This is      evidenced not only by Copeland&#8217;s own piano solos, but also by the various improvisational      horn runs and bass licks that combine to pruduce a very fluid and melodic recording.
