How about some easy feeling swing and mellow music with the Flute as the front instrument. Big deal? How about three flute players? That&#8217;s what you get with a Capri Records release. The group is called Flutology, which features flutists Frank Wess (bass &amp; c flute), Holly Hofmann (c), and Ali Ryerson ( alto &amp; c). The name of the release is called &#8220;First Date.&#8221;  Due to a top-rated rhythm section of Mike Wofford (P), Peter Washington (B), and former Monk drummer Ben Riley, this disc is a good mix that is sure to please jazz lovers who prefer the softer side. The song selections include famous composers-players.  <\/p>\n<p>  Let&#8217;s start with the swinging side.
