A sophomore at Columbia University, Cincotti debuted his self-titled CD this month with all the fanfare of a new press darling. Produced by the legendary <em>Phil Ramone<\/em>, <strong>Peter Cincotti<\/strong> is stunning in its versatility, romance and charm. Cincotti&#8217;s voice mirrors the techniques of Harry Connick, Jr., John Pizzarelli, and a young Frank Sinatra, whom Peter admits he idolized as a child.   <\/p>\n<p>  The program consists of such standards as <em>Comes Love<\/em> the ever-so-sultry <em>Sway<\/em> which Cincotti delivers with a theatrical flair, Fats Waller&#8217;s <em>Ain&#8217;t Misbehavin&#8217;<\/em> and <em>Miss Brown<\/em>. He covers the <em>Fool On The Hill\/Nature Boy<\/em> medley with style and panache and gives these gems a fresh piano and vocals rendition that just about anyone can relate to.
