We almost divorced over that one. Hopefully, we will remain hitched by the conclusion of this review.  <\/p>\n<p>Hank Jones was one of the all-time great Jazz composers, and a member of one of Jazz&#8217;s greatest families: Brothers Thad was himself a great composer and trumpeter, and Elvin was the great drummer with John Coltrane&#8217;s classic quartet. Besides playing with Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, and Ella Fitzgerald, Hank Jones was a staff person for CBS, playing on radio and television programs. He is 85 years old.  <\/p>\n<p>On to this release, this is a smorgasbord of the &#8220;88&#8217;s&#8221; with no other instrumentation. Pianist Geoffrey Keezer plays duets on eight of the ten tracks with the following guests: Kenny Barron, Chick Corea, Benny Green, and Mulgrew Miller, while nine of the tracks are Jones&#8217; compositions. Not much more can be said about these 5 great musicians. If you like piano music, then this one should make your library.
