The film centers around the choreographer, teacher and dancer David Zambrano and is both an impressionistic portrait of a contemporary dance artist and a meditation on movement. The music features the diverse influences of a wide array of masters and styles including the tango, Bartok, high-tech Jungle style grooves, atmospheric electronic dance beats and North African rhythms. <\/p>\n<p>  With shades of Astor Piazzolla, Argentina&#8217;s Nuevo tango scene and the sensuality and melancholy of Barcelona, Spain woven throughout the soundtrack, the sparse, minimalist music enhances the black and white film scenes through the simpatico playing of Michael Attias on alto saxophone, Sam Bardfeld on violin, Charlie Giordano on accordion, John Herbert on bass, Kevin Norton on drums, Edward Ratliff on cornet, celest, Fender Rhodes, and trombone, and Seido Salifoski on dumbek.
