Fabrizio Sotti – Inner Dance

Guitarist/composer Fabrizio Sotti is joined by Claudia Acuna, Gregoire Maret and Sam Barsh on his debut recording for E1 label titled INNER DANCE. The 9-track program is a versatile homage to the sounds of Wes Montgomery and Jimmy Smith. The program features the classic sound of Barsh’s Hammond B-3 organ and Sotti’s guitar on the seductive “Kindness In Your Eyes,” the percussively swinging “I Thought So,” and the high energy of “Last Chance.”

Claudia Acuna’s rich vocals are soulfully intertwined on a sweet ballad called “Amancer” while “Brief Talk” is a heartfelt tribute to Michael Brecker. Sotti has a lot to offer on this debut and this fascinating and creatively fulfilling record should be in your collection.
